Brian Cashin

Brian Cashin was born and raised in New York City.  He graduated from St. Francis College and served in the US Army and New York National Guard.  Upon completion of his military service, he obtained his MBA from Fordham University and began his forty year career in financial services.  Brian was associated with Smith Barney, CitiGroup, Chase Manhattan Bank and Fidelity Investments. After his retirement from Fidelity, he and five colleagues organized and founded First Commons Bank, N.A. in Newton and Wellesley, Massachusetts.  Brian retired from the bank in 2013 but continues to serve on the bank's Board.  Brian and his wife, Mary Dickinson Cashin, reside in Cumberland, ME with their Golden Retrievers.  Mary is an American Kennel Club Breeder of Merit for Champions and Hunters and owns Goldiva Goldens, LLC
