I have had dogs my whole life, however I didn't get my first Golden Retriever until I got married.  He was a pet store/puppy mill dog with hip dysplasia, but he was a great pet.  After that experience, we started buying dogs with better pedigrees.  One of my goldens is a Therapy Dog, and another one is working towards that goal.  I am also active in the Casco Bay Dog Training Club and Midcoast Triathlon Club.
