I grew up in Cumberland, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington. I have always had a love for animals and ever since I was a child, I have always had a four-legged friend in my life. I got hooked into goldens in 2003 when I got my “heart” dog, Penny. I quickly created an inseparable bond with Penny and she showed me the wonderful love and joy that goldens bring into an individual's life. Penny opened many doors for me and is the reason that I am so dedicated to the breed and involved in many different dog activities! I actively train and compete with my dogs in agility, obedience, rally, conformation, tracking, field work therapy work and occasionally breed. I live in Topsham with my husband, daughter, 4 goldens and kitty.
