I grew up in New Sweden in Aroostook County, ME, with 7 siblings, and multiple dogs, cats sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and one crazy goat.  Golden Retrievers were our family's dog breed of choice.  It was a wonderful childhood roaming our family's 100 acre farm, always with our goldens in tow.   So it was a natural choice for me as an adult to get my first golden retriever, Chloe,  in 1998.  I can't imagine life now without a golden... or two.  I currently live in Gorham, ME with my 2 goldens, Trot and Skye.  I enjoy working and playing with my dogs.  We are competitive in Obedience and Rally, and enjoy trying out other dog sports.  I work for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and am lucky that my job allows me to work from home.  The dogs are wonderful companions, sleeping nearby as I work in my home office.   It's a wonderful life when its shared with a Golden, for sure!
