Suzy Nattress

Suzy grew up in Auburn, graduating from Edward Little High School and Central Maine Community College.  As a child on summer vacations, she went to work with her grandfather at a veterinarian hospital and animal shelter in Aroostook county. That is where her love for dogs began.
Suzy has volunteered with a New England golden retriever rescue, coordinating home visits, transportation and registration for their annual dog walk. She also co-chaired the Parade of Rescues at the Golden Retriever National Specialty in 1999 and 2008. Suzy currently serves on the board of a golden rescue in Tennessee . She volunteers at Camp Lucy, organizing the doggie games and the silent auction.
Suzy manages electronic access and keys at Bates College. She and her husband, Dave, live in Auburn with Maggie and Sam.  Maggie is a reading dog at the Lewiston Public Library. Sam visits the Hospice House in Auburn. Both Maggie and Sam have earned their Rally Novice titles.
